Trudy creates her paper cuttings
based on German Swiss technique of
cutting a design from one sheet of paper.
Light colored acid free paper is used for the
cutting which is placed on a dark
background and personalized with
hand lettered calligraphy. Ideas for her
designs are influenced by American folk
art of the 17th and 18th century.
The cuttings are framed by her husband Gerry.
